Dr. C.P. Thakur Dr CP Thakur is a renowned doctor, scientist, humanitarian and politician from Bihar. Recipient of several national and international honours including the Padmashri and BC Roy Award, Dr Thakur has been a consultant with World Health Organization on Kala-azar for nearly three decades. A five-term Member of Parliament, he also served as Union Minister of Health, MSME and North East region.
