About Author
Brooke Moore and Richard Parker have taught phi¬losophy at California State University, Chico, for a long time, since 1970 in Moore’s case and since 1972 in Parker’s. Moore has a bachelor’s degree in music from Antioch College and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Cincinnati; Parker received his undergradu¬ate degree from the University of Arkansas and his PhD from the University of Washington, both in philosophy.
