What exactly is “New India”? In this unique graphic novel, journalist Aakar Patel serves as our guide, pulling along his optimistic nephew, his dogs, and a lively cast of public voices as they explore the nation’s grand claims and the realities beneath them. Through sharp conversations, historical context, and true stories, the book examines how government decisions shape how free, safe, prosperous, and healthy people truly are. Witty, insightful, and accessible, it works both as a graphic narrative and as a clear, engaging political primer.
