The Collapse of Illusions
What remains when God, Time, and Self disappear?

This is not a book of answers. It is a dismantling—of names, myths, and all that we thought was real. From the first flicker of life to the quiet undoing of identity, The Collapse of Illusions traces a journey through perception, entropy, and emotion. With rare clarity, it invites the reader to examine what lies beneath our stories – when every label fades, and only presence remains. A meditative inquiry woven with science, philosophy, and personal insight, this book doesn’t preach – it pauses. It doesn’t conclude – it dissolves. If you’ve ever felt that quiet knock within – this might be the moment to listen.

The chapters at a glance
Ch. 1 – The Blink That Stayed
Ch. 2 – The Illusion of Intention
Ch. 3 – The First Pulse

Closing Reflections
Before We Disappear
The Blink and the Gentle Exit

Not all time is equal. Physical time moves by the clock—minutes, days, years. It ages the body, drives seasons, ticks forward no matter what. But there is another kind of time. Invisible. Psychological. Perceptual. We call it EchoTime.
— Excerpt 1 from the book
People who looked like us, prayed like us, spoke the same language, ate the same food. We came together to feel less alone — but ended up feeling more divided. This wasn’t connection. It was camouflage.
— Excerpt 2 from the book

About Author

L C has spent a lifetime asking questions that most people avoid — about purpose, fear, identity, and the silent spaces in between. A technologist, corporate leader, photographer, and storyteller, he has led global businesses and walked the inner corridors of self with equal intensity. His journey has taken him from remote Indian villages to global boardrooms, from Harvard to Banaras, from the outer world of systems to the inner realm of silence. He also wrote and produced Banaras, a mystic love story that reflects his deep engagement with themes of longing, time, and transcendence. But beyond roles and titles, he is a seeker — of truth, of clarity, and of that fragile moment when illusions collapse and something real begins.
