About Author
A mother to a pre-teen and aunt to a teenager, Shilpa Suraj often found herself floundering while trying to find the balance between being the ‘cool’ adult and the ‘responsible’ one. A published romance author with Harlequin, Mills & Boon India, Rupa Publications, Juggernaut and Storytel, Shilpa first forayed into children’s writing with the Flipped Anthology by Harper Collins. Inspired by her travails in trying to be this generation’s version of a cool parental figure, she sat down to pen her first Young Adult novel, the one in your hands now, Hey Kitty.
