About Author

Srinivas Pingali has over thirty years of varied experience in product development and innovation, sales and marketing, market research and business operations in multinationals and entrepreneurial companies. He had never held a role that existed before he created it. Srinivas is currently an Adjunct Practice at the Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur, India. At IIMU, he teaches various courses, including Digital Transformation, Digital Technologies, B2B Markets. Product Management and Digital Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. In his previous role, Srinivas was a member of the founding team of Quatrro Global Services, a leading business process management company headquartered in Atlanta. Srinivas was a part of Quatrro’s executive team, and his primary focus was sales and marketing, strategy, product development, and alliances. Over the two decades, he has incubated multiple cloud-based services in North America. The services included accounting and payroll, small business loans, technical support, and digital transformation support. Srinivas also led the creation of Quatrro’s subscription-based portal with over half a million individual and small business customers. Srinivas joined Quatrro from Accenture, where he was part of the Senior Executive Cadre (previously known as Partnership). Srinivas was a key member of the management team that built Accenture’s BPO capabilities in India. In his last role at Accenture, Srinivas was the Business Lead for Accenture Insurance Services (AIS), focusing on the global Life and P&C Insurance industry. Before joining Accenture, Srinivas was a member of the founding team of Spectramind, led by BPO industry pioneer Raman Roy. He was a key member of the business development and client relationships team and worked on several client engagements in the e-commerce, high-tech and financial services verticals. Before Spectramind, Srinivas spent close to a decade in various marketing and market research roles in ITC (India subsidiary of British American Tobacco), NFO (now part of global market research leader Taylor Nelson Sofres), and the Tata Group. Srinivas is a regular speaker on digital transformation, platform-based services, innovation, and SME strategies. Srinivas is a Chemical Engineer for Osmania University, College of Technology, India and holds an MBA degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is an Executive Fellow of Management (Doctoral equivalent) from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Srinivas conducts Management Development Programs for both large corporations as well as small business owners. He has co-authored several book, case studies and business articles.
