Sarajit Poddar, also known as Varāhamihira, is a passionate enthusiast of Jyotish (Vedic astrology). He began his journey under the tutelage of his paternal uncle, Sri Manoj Kānti Poddar, and received further guidance from Pt. Sanjay Rath. A dedicated seeker, Sarajit has spent over thirty years striving to understand the alignment of celestial forces and their influence on worldly affairs. His studies have focused on uncovering the hidden meanings behind the shlokas and sutras of classical texts, as well as reconciling their differences. Through this meticulous exploration, he has developed a profound understanding of Jyotish principles. Sarajit's quest for deeper insights into Jyotish culminated in the creation of his book, "In Search of Jyotish." In this work, he shares his observations, reflections, and experiences, offering valuable knowledge to fellow seekers. The book is a testament to his commitment to unveiling the secrets of Jyotish and his desire to connect with others who share his passion.
